Blueberry was born on 7/1/07. Ok, well she was born before that but she became "blueberry" right around that day.
She was the only one of her "litter" to actually become blue, which makes her extra special. She is also the only piggy with blue eyes. Blueberry very much wanted to go to a home with children who would love her and fill her up with lots of "jinglies." She got her wish on July 7 when two boys and their father came to the Farmer's Market in Downtown Cedar Rapids and picked her out over many of her brothers and sisters. She is now on her way to her new home in Tokyo, Japan. Though I'm sure Blueberry will pick up the language and customs very quickly, her big blue eyes will surely get her places as well.
